BABA BLINGS : PERANAKAN FAMILY JEWELS

Feast your eyes on some of the finest jewelry from combined collections of the Peranakan Museum, family heirlooms and private collections. This exhibition is set to dazzle with treasures ranging from functional jewelry pieces, to ornate gems dating from the 19th century to the present.

 

These prized treasures will walk visitors through the evolution of Peranakan jewelry and reflect strong cultural influences from the east and west. Don’t miss the chance to catch some of the largest kerosangs (signature Peranakan brooches) and rare pieces of Peranakan jewelry.
