FireFly, a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines launched its inaugural international flight from Kota Bharu to Singapore Changi Airport. Kota Bharu is the capital of Kelantan, renowned for its rich heritage, Islamic culture, traditional handicrafts and good food. 

Operating a fleet of 12 ATR 72-500 turboprop, FireFly main hubs are at Penang and Subang, connecting secondary destinations within the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle and between Malaysia and Singapore.
