JURLIQUE BREAKFAST PARTY AT JURLIQUE DAY SPA

I attended the breakfast party held at Jurlique Day Spa.

The highlight of the party was a lymphatic massage demonstration using Jurlique Skin Care products.

We were given a little tour of Jurlique Day Spa and the rooms sure look cosy for treatment.

SPRING MAGAZINE WITH TSUMORI CHISATO REVERSIBLE TOTE BAG

Although plentiful Mooks and new Japanese magazines with freebies galore were in store at Kinokuniya, i was only tempted by Spring Magazine.

The reason ? It came with a lovely Tsumori Chisato Reversible Tote Bag in Metallic Bronze, flip it and it becomes a cheery flora print with bronzy stars.

I love it in Metallic Bronzy and the flora print would be a nice backdrop as the interior.

GELATO PIQUE, CATH KIDSTON, MARC BY MARC JACOBS AND LIZ LISA MOOKS AT KINOKUNIYA

Gelato Pique 1st Anniversary Mook arrived at Kinokuniya. It comes with a flora tote bag and scrunchie freebie however its seems really popular as only 3 copies were left on display when i left late in the evening at Kinokuniya Bugis Junction.

Cath Kidston Mook was also released. Plenty were left perhaps due to the hefty price tag at S$51.50. I think Its a bit too expensive for a mook.

Marc By Marc Jacobs Mook which comes with a free tote bag was also spotted. if you missed this last month, its a good chance to get it now.I highly recommend this as the tote is nice and roomy.

Lastly Liz Lisa 10th Anniversary Mook with the pretty lacy pouch with sweet pink ribbon released previously and only 2 copies were left on display

MAGAZINE FREEBIES UPDATE AT KINOKUNIYA

Japanese Magazines Steady which was branded with an Agnes B. Lunch tote freebie and In Red Magazine with Marc Jacobs Daisy pouch freebies were sold out in a flash at all Kinokuniya stores. The next shipment will be in on 28th September.

Personally I'm not a big fan of small lunch tote or black zipper pouch so i was unfazed by the whole scramble for these magazines.

Sweet magazine which comes with a Anna Sui Long Fabric Card Holder freebie was also sold out at Kinokuniya Bugis Junction and only 1 copy of L’Officiel Magazine with Ed. Pinaud Midnight Blue eye shadow was spotted. All other colours were snapped up.

ANNA SUI INSPIRED EARRINGS HOLDER, CHIRIMEN FABRIC CASES & ALL THINGS JAPANESE FROM DAISO

After attending Samsung Omnia II presentation, i pop by Daiso and spotted quite a few good bargains. I don't have a habit of posting my purchases as i would feel more guilty for spending but i would like to share some lovely bargains at Daiso though many readers would have spotted them already.

I couldn't resist this Anna Sui inspired Earrings holder, which could display 12 pairs of earrings. An absolute bargain at S$2/-



This Japanese style Chirimen fabric tissue case colourful print caught my attention. I don't usually go for bright colours but this nice and cheery design would stand out amid the dark interior of my handbag, a time saving incentive when im looking for tissue in a hurry.


I had purchased a Chirimen fabric zipper case about 2 months ago from Daiso. Don't they both look kirei ?

This clear hanger reminds me of the clean understated design from Muji . As i have recently moved to my new place in town, i am beginning to look at more household items. This would be handy.

Fancy some pretty cosmetic kitchen sponges ? They look so cute ! I almost wanted to buy but practical me decided to pass and KIV instead although they would look good in the kitchen they might look scruffy after a couple of washing.

Another interesting item is a banana stand. Basically you just hang it on the hook to keep your bananas fresh and blemish free. Again, i passed and KIV as it may take up a little to much space in my kitchen. A little hook on the wall will do the job for the moment.

Lastly, the famous Daiso Soba sauce and soba noodles. I have heard so much about the highly popular Daiso Soba Sauce and its never in stock when i visit Daiso in the past few months since i moved back from London. It must be my lucky day as i finally spotted a dozen. A regular bottle of Soba sauce cost around S$5 easily in a supermarket and at Daiso its only S$2 ! I purchased five bottles of Soba Sauce for my besties and myself. I bought a packet of cha soba as well .

It was a fruitful trip to Daiso today and i will try to pop by more often for excellent value buys.
