THE IMPORTANCE OF CARING FOR THE LAST 15CM OF YOU HAIR

• The last 15cm of hair is the oldest part your hair that went through the most chemical process and most prone to damages such as dryness, frizziness,tangles and split ends

A true fact indeed. Just to share my personal experience. I recently had a digital perm and coloured/highlighted my hair, i felt that my hair was extremely dry and brittle. I have already heed the advice from my Hairstylist at PureColor Studio to let my hair rest for a month after my perm before colouring . Yet my hair still feels coarse and dry as hay each time i shampooed my hair. He also advised to use a leave in treatment daily after conditioning and twice weekly hair mask treatment to nourish damage hair.

                     

Conditioning my hair daily with twice weekly hair mask keeps my hair soft and nourished but its the leave-in treatment that leaves my hair moisturised, ultra soft and manageable and restore my hair like before. I used Essential Nuance Airy on mid length so that it would smooth my hair and moisturise and not weigh down my curls and then i used Essential Rich Premier on the last 8cm of my hair to keep my coloured chemically treated hair nourished, manageable and gives it an instant shine boost. Both essence are extremely fluid and absorbed easily. I dont usually blow dry my hair but Essential Rich Premier hair essence is also designed to protect from harsh styling heat and even harmful UV rays. Noticed how smooth and silky my hair is ?
