LVMH GROUP DONATES 500 MILLION YEN TO JAPAN

LVMH Group announced a donation of 500 million YEN (USD 6 Million) to support the affected Japanese and the recovery of the Tohoku region. LVMH team members are saddened by the unfortunate string of events in Japan. The strong relationship between LVMH and Japan have fostered since 1860 and is moving from strength to strength.

BENEFIT COSMETICS - Maggie and Annie Ford Danielson, the Global Makeup Trend Artists and Brand Authorities of Benefit Cosmetics were in Singapore last week for the Press Preview of Cha-Cha Tint as well as meeting Benefit Cosmetics Fans at Tangs Orchard and Sephora ION.

Thanks to the lovely folks at BENEFIT Cosmetics Singapore, BEAUTERUNWAY attended a cozy intimate luncheon with Maggie and Annie Ford Danielson held at Mezza 9, Grand Hyatt Singapore. Maggie and Annie are the daughters of Jean Ford and nieces of Jane Ford who are the founders of Benefit Cosmetics. Growing up with Jean and Jane, its only natural that Maggie and Annie took over the reins to continue Benefit Cosmetics legacy. Benefit cosmetics currently have over 2,000 counters in more than 30 countries.

Whole South African Abalone with chicken puff. Succulent and flavorsome abalone with melt in the mouth crispy puff. Decadence !

Deep-fried Beancurd Ring, Kalimeris with Spiced Beancurd . Ultra crunchy beancurd crisp that leaves you craving for more. I am not a veggie person but the Kalemeris have a light refreshing taste.

Braised Imperial Bird’s Nest and Phoenix Shark’s Fin with Minced Chicken 凤凰展翅. Super nourishing for your complexion with the goodness of Bird’s Nest in the rich ingredients.

Lobster in Pumpkin Egg Yolk Sauce 流沙南天龙虾球 – Too pretty to savor ! Love the sweetness of the fresh lobster meat.

Sui Hong Signature Braised Pork Belly 瑞康极品东坡肉 – Michelin Chef Ng braised it to perfection. The Pork belly melt in your mouth sensation with subtle aroma from the spices combined with the hand made dough is simply divine!

Hangzhou Fried Noodles and Brasenia Fishballs 金雕玉器（配）蓴菜鱼圓. Freshly made Brasenia Fish balls simmered in clear double boiled chicken soup paired with fried noodles is another winning dish from Michelin Chef Ng. The softness and freshness of the springy fish ball is amazing and goes extremely well with the soup.  

Glutinous Rice Balls in Osmanthus Brandy and Black Sesame Paste Pancake 仙露明珠（配）黑芝麻锅饼. I have a weakness for Osmanthus desserts and the soft chewy glutinous rice balls with Osmanthus Brandy is out of the world ! This taste exactly like the authentic Hong Kong Desserts served in Hong Kong Fine Dining Chinese Restaurants. The black sesame paste pancake is crispy on the outside and not too sweet for my palette.

The Old Hong Kong Legend Michelin Maestro’s Menu is well worth every cent for the quality and culinary presentations by Michelin Chef Ng and Master Chef Yau without having to travel to Hong Kong and Hang Zhou to experience the award winning dishes.
