MBC KOREAN MUSIC WAVE SINGAPORE 2013 CANCELLED | TICKETS REFUND K-POP CONCERT

MBC Korean Music wave Singapore 2013 K-pop concert featuring Girls' Generation TaeTiSo, EXO, SHINee, 2pm, 2am, FT Island, IU, Sistar, 4minute, missA, B1A4, Teentop, Kara, B.A.P.,  at Gardens by the Bay on November 16th has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances including contractual difficulties with co-producer, MBC, in a statement by local organizer, Fatfish Entertainment Pte Ltd.

‘Your support has been much appreciated and we sincerely apologize to all the fans and ticket holders for any disappointment and/or inconvenience caused.

This is an unexpected turn of events and we are ascertaining how this cancellation will affect our financial position. We are currently seeking professional advice to see how we can best refund our ticket holders and other creditors. We will need some time for this and seek your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

With the advice of our lawyers and other professional advisers, we have come to the painful decision to wind up Fatfish Entertainment Pte Ltd in order to see to the orderly distribution of the company’s assets to our creditors including those who purchased tickets from us directly.

Announcement - Appointment of Provisional Liquidators (8 Nov 2013)

'We wish to inform you that Messrs Chee Yoh Chuang and Abuthahir Abdul Gafoor of Stone Forest Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd have been appointed as the Provisional Liquidators of the Company today. Legal Solutions LLC have been retained to act as the lawyers for the Provisional Liquidators.

As the Provisional Liquidators of the Company, they will step in at this juncture to see to the orderly distribution of the Company’s assets to all our creditors including those who purchased tickets from us directly.

The Provisional Liquidators will provide further details of the winding-up and contact details for the public to channel their queries to.

For those who purchased tickets from our ticketing agents, please contact the relevant agent directly for further details on refunds. For all other ticket holders, refunds will be managed by the provisional liquidators to be appointed by Fatfish Entertainment Pte Ltd.

Korean music K-pop fans supporters had queued for hours to purchase tickets at Priority Sales @ Scape, regional fans booked flights and hotel accommodation just to see the MBC Korean Music wave Singapore, marketed as the largest K-pop concert in 2013 with their Korean idols will be sadly disappointed but unfortunately, the costs and logistics for organizing the mega concert may be a little too much to bear.

Tickets refund for Super VIP Experience Package S$688 (all sold out), Platinum S$368, Premier S$268 and Hills S$168 to S$238 will be handled as mentioned above.
