OPTICAL 88 SPECTACULAR SHOW 2012 –SPRING SUMMER FASHION WEEK AT MIDVALLEY MEGAMALL KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIA

BEAUTERUNWAY was invited to attend the Optical 88 Spectacular show 2012 in Malaysia, just a short flight from Singapore and we stayed at The Gardens Hotel Executive Rooms, a Five Stars Hotel at MidValley MegaMall.

Hosted by International celebrity actress and model Sonia Couling, the Optical 88 Spectacular show is a multifaceted sensational showcase of 18 designer eyewear from luxury fashion house like FENDI, PRADA, GUCCI, DIOR, BVLGARI, Bespoke labels - Hugo Boss, Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli to sporty brands like Porsche Design, Oakley, Tag Heuer, CYMA, optical brands -Silhouette and Rayban  with trendy IC! BERLIN, Emporio Armani, Agnes B and Anna Sui.

The chi chi  glamorous soirée was star studded with celebrities, socialites, fashionistas and local press dressed in their evening best, donning their favourite designer shades and eyewear for a Spectacular night.

Singapore Actor/Host/Director Dasmond Koh and cast from TIMELESS LOVE 《那个夏天》 Actor Aloysius Pang, XuBin and Kimberly Chia were also present.

The Optical 88 Spectacular Show was conceptualized and  choreographed by world renowned Creative Director and Fashion Show Producer Daniel Boey with the Malaysia production house.

Daniel Boey  is synonymous with producing the most high profile and iconic fashion show in the world including Men’s Fashion Week Asia Singapore 2011/2012 and Women's Fashion Week Best Of Haute Couture Show and the inaugural Optical 88 Spectacular Show is no exception.

The Optical 88 Fashion Show was the most spectacular and intriguing show stopping designer eyewear fashion showcase ever in Kuala Lumpur,  where basic eyewear like spectacles and sunglasses sync simultaneously and seamlessly with fashion for sophisticated stylish elegant looks instantly, creating a milestone in the local Optical retail industry.
