SUNSILK ACADEMY FANTASIA FINALISTS WINNERS + STARHUB MOBILE APP WITH KARAOKE - REALITY TV SINGING PROGRAMME PREMIERE ON CHANNEL 110

Starhub Sunsilk Academy Fantasia reality tv singing competition 14 finalists and mobile app with karaoke function, vote for your favourite contestant and Facebook sharing  were unveiled by Taiwan Concert host, Joe Tsoi at the media conference for the inaugural Academy Fantasia Channel StarHub TV 110 held at The Singapore Flyer.

Sunsilk Academy Fantasia is StarHub’s first major foray into content production, alongside with local renowned production house, Refinery Media. To be broadcasted across multiple platforms on TV, internet and mobile,  Sunsilk Academy Fantasia is  set to engage viewers with its non-stop 18 hours surveillance on the 14 finalists chosen from more than 500 contestants from 3 auditions.

Debuting on 8th July, The Sunsilk Academy Fantasia daily shows will be hosted by Louis Wu , a Mediacorp actor and host with Ophelia Su Bei Ru, a popular host from One Million Star telecast on the Academy Fantasia Channel StarHub 110  where the contest winner will win  a two-year singing contract and a recording album with Ocean Butterflies Music.

In the academy to crown the SunSilk Academy winner, the 14 finalists – 7 female and 7 male with ages from 18-30 will undergo intensive training from renowned experts in singing, dancing and professional grooming. With limited access to phones and internet, they are accompanied by Nikon COOLPIXes “style series” S9300, S6300, S4300, S3300 and S2600 cameras to rally for votes online and showmanship performance at the first weekly concert on 14 July 2012, held every Saturday at Dragonfly Bar, St James Power Station.
