Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza have been converted into Wii Sport Resort this weekend ! Everyone gets a chance to experience the various exciting games in Wii.  Simply join the main queue for some fun filled games like bowling,  table tennis, basket ball, archery, swordplay etc. Wii console and accessories were also on sale.

   

TANGS CLOSURE ON 26TH OCTOBER FOR FOUNDER’S DAY

Tangs will be closed tomorrow on 26th October for 1 day in remembrance for Mr C K Tang. Tangs would be opened on 27th onwards  , business as usual.

HEWLET PACKARD ENVY & WINDOWS 7 LAUNCH AT TANGS

HI attended the launch of HP Envy and Microsoft Windows 7 party at Tangs Technobay. HP ENVY a sexy sleek powerful model was launched only a couple of days ago in USA. Microsoft Windows 7 needs no introduction as its the latest software that everyone was anticipating and would be launched at the stoke of 12 midnight.

Guests queuing to purchase HP products and Windows 7 at 12 midnight. Another launch was at Funan I.T. Mall where most of the technology bloggers are. The 1st chap who started queuing at 3.30 pm at Funan for his  Microsoft Windows 7 was rewarded with a T-shirt ‘ I got my Windows 7 before You’ . Isn't that cool ?

Lovely canapés and drinks from Tangs Island Shop Cafe were served. HP had a brilliant idea of pampering their guests. Partnering with renowned French skincare company, Clarins to pamper and indulge in beauty treats. Ladies were the most pampered as we could chose a makeover using Clarins Make Up range, a manicure using OPI colours , a relaxing head and shoulder massage using Clarins Body Care range and posing with the ultra light sexy HP110 or HP 5101 for a keepsake photo shoot ! Gentlemen enjoyed complimentary skin care consultation and head & shoulder massage by Clarins therapists.

REVLON RUNWAY COLLECTION ~ STELLA ARTIFICIAL NAILS REVIEW

Remember the lovely surprise from Revlon a couple of weeks ago ? I just tried the Revlon Runway Collection Nails last week after my gel nail designs are off.

Revlon recently introduced its Runway Collection-stylish nails with ornate tips and natural nail bed resins with glamorous design nails inspired by the latest couture fashion. These nails are a great alternative to expensive, time-consuming salon services. If applied properly, they last up to 7-10 days. Sounds good !

I tried STELLA, a lovely natural light pink nails with criss cross white tips. Its my first time using artificial nails, i have never tried any before as i was worried that i cant stick them properly naturally.

The Revlon Runway Collection kit is packaged with artificial nails, a little bottle of glue, a nail buff and a manicure stick. There are 24 nails in 12 sizes so they are bound to fit your natural nails. For added convenience, the nails are numbered so we could select the size that matches our natural nails. How cool is that ?

After cleaning my nails , lightly buffing and selecting the right sizes, i proceed to stick the Revlon nails over my own. Simply hold the numbered end which is the tip and apply an even layer of glue over the entire nail and back of the artificial nail. Press the nail firmly for 5 seconds and voila ! Pretty natural looking nails . Further, there is no need to buff the tips of the artificial nails as they are so well made. Its so easy !

My nails look really nice and shiny and its very easy to use. You know what the great thing is ?
