HTC GLOBAL REBRANDING & HTC TATTOO MEDIA LAUNCH

I was invited to HTC Tattoo™ media launch and HTC Global Rebranding at Butter Factory at One Fullerton. Guests were invited to write on a giant HTC Tattoo™ poster at the entrance.

The launch started with LIVE HTC Flash Mob. HTC Flash Mob was seen last week at Raffles Place and Wisma Atria. Did you guys remember the catchy tunes and nifty dance steps ?

Melvin, Country Manager for HTC gave an insight into the rebranding of HTC  and the unveiling of the new Quietly Brilliant brand positioning. Melvin explained the concept behind it and that all of us are quietly brilliant ! “Quietly brilliant is doing great things in a humble way, with the belief that the best things in life can only be experienced, not explained”

HTC’s first global advertising campaign, the YOU campaign is being rolled out across 20 countries in the coming weeks and features the tagline, ‘You don’t need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you.’

This represents HTC’s commitment to focus on people, their needs and how they work and live to ensure that HTC devices suit them.The YOU campaign is focused on driving broad, global visibility and understanding of HTC’s unique brand promise – that it’s all about YOU, the consumer, not the device.  YOU campaign will employ an integrated-media approach to reach consumers via television, print, outdoor and online.

A-Ha, just the Tattoos as HTC Tattoo would only be launched next weekend. The new HTC Tattoo in Thoughtful Silver would be available at all authorised resellers and HTC Tattoo in Sophisticated Black, exclusively at M1 retail outlets. Standard retail HTC Tattoo package will come with a 2GB microSD™ card. Look out for launch offers at $598 and freebies from your service provider.

I was at Kinokuniya earlier and spotted the Hello Kitty HamburGirl Tote Bag. This bag is smaller than Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Mook but its cuter as its reversible and retails at $27.50. I only saw 2 copies on display when i was there in the evening.
