As  part  of  its  continuing  plans  for  global  expansion,  UNIQLO Causeway Point will open on May 13th with a 13,300  square  feet  store which is the 2nd largest UNIQLO store in Singapore after UNIQLO @313. UNIQLO Causeway Point will stock key staples and favourites for heartlanders to be stylishly updated.

AUDI FASHION FESTIVAL 2011 CASTING PARTY AT ION ORCHARD

Audi Fashion Festival hosted its high-profile public casting party held at ION Orchard Singapore last month. Vivian Ong (Singapore), Wang Qian Qian (China), Marina Nikitenkova  (Ukraine), Nastya Karzan (Russia) and Florentina Stoian (Romania) were selected from the shortlisted 40 final models from an initial casting of 300 to be official festival faces for the Audi Fashion Festival Singapore 2011.

The 40 models, which include eight males, were picked by a judging panel comprising top Singaporean model Sheila Sim, celebrity stylist Jeremy Tan, Elle Singapore’s editor-in-chief Sharon Lim and Audi Fashion Festival show producer Jeremy Tan.

Further, Marina Nikitenkova from Ukraine has been selected by ELLE Editor-In-Chief as this year’s Elle’s Choice and will appear in a six-page fashion spread in the ELLE Singapore.

AUDI FASHION FESTIVAL 2011 DRIVING IMAGINATION PRESS CONFERENCE PREVIEW

BEAUTERUNWAY was invited to Audi Fashion Festival 2011 Driving Imagination Press Conference preview held at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan, Singapore. Audi Fashion Festival Director Tjin Lee and Festival Chairman Dick Lee together with Managing Director of Audi Singapore Mr Reinhold Carl gave us an insight to Audi Fashion Festival 2011. Audi and fashion are a perfect match in terms of "innovation, technology and progression."

Aptly named "Driving Imagination", gracing the the Audi Fashion Festival (AFF) 2011 opening show is Missoni renowned for its distinctive patterns and flattering knits with its Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, together with 3 generations of the Missoni family - the brand's founder Rosita, daughter and creative director Angela and granddaughter, Margherita, the label's muse.

Antonio Berardi whose celebrity clientele includes Megan Fox, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba and personal friend, Victoria Beckham will showcase his collection. Tiffany & Co. will partner The Link Boutique’s Vera Wang gowns to showcase its exquisite jewellery. Singapore-born Prabal Gurung will be presenting his highly-acclaimed collection with Atelier Swarovski by Prabal Gurung. alldressedup and RAOUL, Singapore homegrown international labels will present their Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection while Greyhound Original from Bangkok show its easy to wear designs.

Closing the AFF is Emanuel Ungaro Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, presented by its new creative director Giles Deacon who was the "Best New Designer" at the British Fashion Awards in 2004 and was recently named "British fashion's most feted designer" in The Guardian.

Audi A1, the latest addition from Audi with distinctive and sporty ergonomic design with 1.4 TFSI engine and sleek interior feature was unveiled to the media by Mr Reinhold Carl  with the models. 

Audi Fashion Festival Singapore 2011 have seven show days from 13th to 19th May at  Tent @ Orchard. Tickets will be available on sale to the public at all Sistic counters.

UNIQLO Cath Kidston Charity Project is an unique collection which redefines classic Cath Kidston prints with UNIQLO printing techniques, re-working them in vintage fashion colours to create a washed out, antique look.

Designed by British designer Cath Kidston, all proceeds from this exclusive UNIQLO Cath Kidston Charity Project collection will be donated to the Japanese Organisation for International Cooperation in Family Planning – helping to fund an initiative to support a safe motherhood programme in Zambia.
