SEMBONIA MINDEE’S COLLECTION PRIVATE LAUNCH

I was invited to Sembonia Mindee’s Collection Private Launch held at Vivo City North Court today.  Sembonia is a trendy fashionable lifestyle leather ware brand with new collection every season. This Spring/Summer collection was designed by Mindee Ong exclusively for Sembonia.

Mindee, an actress who had acted in several short films and various productions is Sembonia first celebrity designer. Besides running a business of her own, she is now a bag designer! Mindee first drew her inspiration for designs while looking at credit card bills in the middle of the night ! The rest is now history.

Being a popular gal, Mindee’s good mates, Jamie Teo, Tracy Tan and Rebecca Tan came to support her at the launch. Mindee presented specially chosen bags for her beloved guests who sportingly modeled for us. Mindee also presented a trendy sling bag to the lovely compere, Jacqueline Chow. The Sembonia Collection certainly looks good on everyone ! More collections here.

Lovely canapes and Champagne were served.Guests were rushing to buy the latest Sembonia Mindee Collection. I took the time to catch up with Jaime as its been sometime since i met her. She still look so good and is always so friendly and cheerful. Jaime has just joined Fly Entertainment and we shall see more of Jaime in future productions.

CREATIVE PERM AT PURECOLOR STUDIO

I am getting bored of my straight hair. I mean, i had a great haircut recently and still loving it. But all my friends had done rebonding, digital perm, japanese perm, creative perm, spa perm, colouring, highlights etc. Makes me feel that its time for a change. Feel like going for a perm too as i want a romantic wavy look. 

However, I don’t want something too drastic as i have never done anything to my hair, except giving it a cut. No colouring, No highlights, No rebonding or Perming before. Im kinda afraid that any form of chemicals might damage my hair. But i would like a change in my hair style. Any ideas ?

I decide to book Lucus from PureColor Studio to seek his advice on perming. I told him that I wanted something natural, wavy and not too curly and most importantly wont be damaging to my hair. He sugguested Creative Perm that would be less damaging to my hair and more natural wavy look. Sounds good !

Lucus gave my hair a fantastic cut. This is essential as this would affect the style of the perm. Lucus then meticulously curled my hair and gave it more volume and bounce. Fresh fruits and tea were served and i enjoyed my little snack while reading the latest fashion magazines.

Time to wash my hair, the junior stylist gave me a lovely head and shoulder massage again. After drying my hair, Lucus came over.

Lucus simply blow dry my hair and Wow ! Great natural, lovely wavy curls ! Exactly the way i like it ! Lucus also share with me some advice on how to care for perm hair to keep it looking great and healthy . Thanks for the tips Lucus !

Firstly, Sharon cleanses my face with La Prairie Cellular Comforting Cleansing emulsion, then followed up with La Prairie Cellular Refining lotion. Then, she proceed to exfoliate my skin with La Prairie Essential Exfoliater. After removing the impurities and dead skin, she gently applied the the Skin Caviar Luxe Eye Lift Cream. I think this is really a fantastic eye cream as it targets the 7 most prominent eye areas which include fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, elasticity, puffiness, dark eye circle and dryness.

Consisting of Diamond and quartz crystals and double AHA complex, it refines skin without irritation and provides anti-oxidant benefits.
